ifm's safety controller for mobile vehicles, with many multifunctional configurable input and output channels, also has high-performance CAN interfaces for various communication tasks. The powerful, freely programmable 32-bit SafetyControllers are designed for use in harsh conditions. The programmable, layered error handling feature ('Keep Alive') enables the SafetyController to switch off in case of a serious fault and bring the plant into a safe state. ifm's 3D sensor offers reliable 3D detection of scenes and objects, reliable distance measurement and indication of warnings and obstacles in the live view.

Forklifts
The system, providing ifm's controllers and 3D sensors, detects objects and distance and indication of warnings and obstacles in the live view. High-precision rotary encoders is used to detect the position of the forklift truck and make an accurate turning.
